Community Support for MHS Advanced Career Planning Day
Mayville High School welcomed business professionals, alumni and community members to share their experiences and expertise with students as part of the annual Academic & Career Planning Day (ACP Day).
Students attended classroom college and career information sessions throughout the morning led by these volunteers, followed by afternoon visits and tours of local businesses.
Students also had time to work on scholarship and college application skills, interviewing skills, community service opportunities, resume writing, and much more.
This event was led by Mrs. Loomans and Mr. McFadden, with support from all of the high school staff. The day could not have been a success without their leadership, as well as the support of the outstanding group of local professionals who were willing to give of their time and talents to our students.
